Russian doctor called the consequences of using expired cosmetics
Russian dermatologist Tatyana Egorova called the consequences of using expired cosmetics for facial skin. The expert’s comment is published by News.ru.
The use of expired products can lead to allergic reactions and rashes, but at the same time they do not pose a serious danger and will not cause significant harm. Long-term treatment in such a case is not required, the doctor assured.
“Expired cosmetics do not turn into poison or some kind of killer. Creams are most often seeded, that is, a rash can occur, ”the interlocutor of the publication warned.
At the same time, the physician noted that the ingredients in the composition of such drugs lose their beneficial properties and cease to have the proper effect.
Earlier in June, Russian cosmetologist, dermatovenereologist Larisa Ilyasova named cosmetics that are dangerous to use in the summer. According to the expert, during the warm season it is not recommended to use drugs that cause photosensitivity, that is, increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Otherwise, pain, burning, peeling can be observed, and the risk of hyperpigmentation subsequently increases, she warned.
