In the superhero movie directed by Taika Waititi, the actress plays astrophysicist Jane Foster, whose height, according to the plot of Marvel comics, reaches 182 centimeters. At the same time, the growth of Portman herself is 161 centimeters.
For the role of the muscular heroine, the 41-year-old actress also had to specifically gain muscle mass. Portman stated that it was interesting to train because she had never been tasked with becoming “as big as possible” in her life. Portman also admitted that the film was special for her because it made a strong impression on her children – 11-year-old Aleph and 5-year-old Amalia.
