In China, they reported the possible detection of aliens
Chinese scientists reported that the FAST (Sky Eye) radio telescope has picked up possible man-made signals of extraterrestrial origin, indicating the existence of a technologically advanced alien civilization. Later, a note about the discovery, published in the Science and Technology Daily, was removed for an unknown reason.
According to Zhang Tongjie, chief scientist of the extraterrestrial civilization research team at Beijing Normal University, several possible signs of technological activity outside of Earth have been identified. The narrow-band candidate signals, which were different from anything previously observed, were picked up by China’s 500-meter aperture spherical radio telescope, which is the largest instrument of its class in the world.
In 2020, the team detected two unusual radio signals while processing data from a 2019 sky survey. In 2022, scientists identified another suspicious narrow-band signal while observing exoplanets, bringing the total number of candidate signals to three.
