IKEA will leave Russia completely
The IKEA retail chain has decided to leave Russia completely. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Caution, news” with reference to sources.
It is reported that the management was announced this during the general meeting. It is expected that in the near future IKEA will announce the decision officially. Employees will be reduced, and factories and production will be sold to another owner.
Earlier it became known that the Russians can purchase goods from the Swedish retailer IKEA. Offers for the sale of furniture and accessories for the home of the trading network began to appear on Yandex.Market. The company did not comment on this information, however, the Pen & Paper Bar Association stated that the resale of goods from the retailer who left the country is completely legal.
IKEA decided to stop the full operation of stores in Russia in early March – after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. It was reported that IKEA is suspending imports, exports, production, as well as sales in stores and online stores in Russia and Belarus.
