A service for millions of women appeared in Russia
The social network VKontakte has launched a service that will help women monitor their health and well-being. The innovation is reported in a press release of the social network.
In the service “Health VKontakte” appeared “Women’s Diary”. In it, network users can mark the days of menstruation, track ovulation periods and leave notes related to how they feel. This will allow you to control your health and help when planning a pregnancy. According to VKontakte, 49 million women actively use the Health service. The service will warn about the beginning of menstruation, and will also be able to recommend individual training and nutrition plans.
“In the future, we will introduce even more tools specifically for women’s health. One of them is the SOS button. This is not just a household assistant, but a serious social project. It shows that the girls are ready to help each other out, especially in situations that they themselves have encountered more than once,” said Evgenia Zibareva, Business Development Director.
Earlier it became known that one of the functions most demanded by Russian users appeared in the version of VKontakte for computers – a dark theme. It is noted that with reduced contrast and a dark background, it will be convenient for users to use the necessary services in low light – watch videos, scroll through the feed or chat in the messenger.
